Welcome to the Jogathon Donation Site!

The annual Jogathon is a long-standing tradition at New Covenant School that supports childhood health and fitness as well as raises important funds to keep our school running strong.NCS tuition is set below actual cost in order to keep access to excellent, private education within reach to families in our high cost of living region.For the last 27 years, in order to close this tuition gap differential, NCS students train and prepare physically, mentally and prayerfullyto run as many laps as possible around a regulation sized track in one hour. They raise funds through per lap or flat fee sponsorship for their hard work and effort. Last year’s top student runners (4th grade)) soared around the track reaching 28 laps in one hour ( 7 miles!)

Your generosity directly supports meaningful student work

Our teachers combine project-based learning with intentional character development to empower students to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and active servant leaders in our community. Inspired by the principles of Expeditionary Learning, every class participates in a year-long expedition focus culminating with an authentic piece of work that serves people or a purpose outside of our school community.

Your generous support will assist our students with their 2017/2018 Expedition work in the following areas:
Sustainability - Grade 5
Homelessness - Grades 3 & 4
Conservation - Grades 1&2
Makers/Builders - K4/K5

How can you join in the fun?

The Jogathon is much more than just a fundraiser--it is our school's flagship community-building event! The Jogathon helps build a sense of community for our school families. It encourages good physical fitness and healthy living in our students, faculty and staff and most importantly, we have a lot of fun doing it!

How can you participate or support our event?

  1. Donate to a team or individual(s):
    • Flat donations: Flat donations can be made in the suggested amounts or any amount of your choosing.
    • Per-lap pledges: Per-lap pledges are based upon the total number of laps the participant jogs or runs in the event. You make your pledge now. After the event, we will follow up (via email) to let you know the final amount you need to donate based on the number of laps run. Feel free to donate just that amount or more if you like.
  2. Volunteer to help out the day of the event.
  3. Ask a business that you frequent to help sponsor the event.
  4. Spread the word about our great event to your friends, family and neighbors.
